It’s only Tuesday, and this week’s meal plan has already been rewritten three times. Between leftovers, robotics, housework, Labor Day guests and teenagers treating the kitchen like an all-you-can-eat buffet, we’re aiming for easy dinners and hoping for the best.

Forty years of meals, game nights, family chaos, inside jokes, and memories made with the people who matter most. All gathered around the table.

The meal plan changed before the week even started, but I scored $100 worth of groceries for $37, made queso nobody ate, and still have leftover pizza. Here’s what we’re supposedly eating this week.

Last week’s family gaming included cozy favorites, Shelf of Shame wins, a little under-the-table cheating, and one beautiful game that went straight to the sell pile.

Cozy Stickerville was supposed to be relaxing. Instead, year three brought schoolhouse drama, a marriage to Farmer Dill, an experimental medical procedure, and termites for the entire village. Somehow, we still built a bridge and laughed through every ridiculous family decision.

We started with a perfectly reasonable meal plan. Then the dogs ate the calzone, a giant quesadilla defeated a teenager, and the leftovers vanished.

Freezer friendly and lunchbox ready. Make a batch. Freeze them. Feel wildly accomplished. Watch your teenagers demolish a week’s worth in approximately 36 hours.
